Our History

In 1939 Harold Bramstedt started a small surgical instrument repair company called “H.F. Bramstedt Service Co.”, which later became “Bramstedt Surgical.” Harold built Bramstedt on a foundation of precision, German craftsmanship, and exceptional service. Today Bramstedt Surgical remains true to Harold’s vision, by training its technicians to live up to the tradition of excellence he set forth. The quality our customers experience is the direct result of never taking short-cuts in training.

Bramstedt’s Certified Technicians

Since starting the company, there have been two generations of Master Technicians that trace their lineage directly back to Harold Bramstedt. We are very proud to say, by remaining true to our roots; Bramstedt has the best trained and highest skilled surgical instrument repair technicians in the industry. Their pedigree is a direct result of adhering to our German heritage of excellence, through rigorous training. Our training program takes two years to complete to earn the title of Senior Technician, and four years to earn the title of Master Technician.
